This policy describes information used through the Say YES to Hope website and ways to contact us about privacy.
Information you choose to provide
When you contact us, request support, RSVP, or donate, you may provide contact information, mailing information, a donation amount and frequency, or a message. Some optional program fields ask about your cancer experience or support needs. Please share only what is needed. Do not enter medical records, Social Security numbers, insurance IDs, or payment-card details into general website forms or email.
We use the information you provide to respond, coordinate requested support or events, administer gifts, and send related confirmations. Website RSVP forms send information to our team by email. The Survivor Bag request form opens your own email program; you must send that email to complete the request.
Donations
Secure card and bank payment entry is provided through Helcim. Donation contact details and gift information are submitted to our server to initialize and confirm the donation and send receipts. PayPal and Venmo are separate payment options. These providers handle information under their own privacy policies. An essential session cookie supports the donation form and its security checks.
RoadMaps, TrialMagic, and On TYME
Interactive RoadMap and TrialMagic requests may send information you enter to our server and an external artificial-intelligence service, OpenAI, to generate educational responses. Avoid identifying or highly sensitive information. On TYME saves the information you enter in your browser's local storage; use its clear-data control or your browser settings to remove it. Be mindful when using a shared device.
Website analytics and your choice
This website uses Google Advanced Consent Mode. The Google tag loads on each page with Analytics, advertising storage, advertising user data, and advertising personalization denied by default. Before a visitor accepts Analytics cookies, Google may receive limited cookieless signals about consent status, page activity, and meaningful events. These signals do not use Analytics or advertising cookies and may support aggregated or modeled measurement.
If you allow Analytics cookies, Analytics storage is granted and Google Analytics can use cookies to understand website use and actions such as support-link clicks, successful event RSVPs, and donation confirmations. Advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalization, and Google signals remain disabled in our site configuration. If you decline, Analytics cookies remain disabled. Declining does not prevent access to our resources or donation form. You can change your choice using “Privacy choices” in the footer.
Our added tracking does not send form contents, names, email addresses, health details, or payment details as event parameters. Page addresses sent by our tracking omit query strings and fragments. Your Analytics-cookie choice is saved in local storage in this browser. Essential services and external providers may use their own cookies.
Service providers and external links
Website hosting, email, payment, analytics, and AI services may process information as part of delivering their services. Requests to websites also involve technical information such as an IP address and browser details. Links to other organizations take you to sites with their own privacy practices. Review those practices before submitting information.
Retention, security, and requests
Information may remain in email, donation records, service-provider systems, or browser storage. Retention depends on the type of record and operational or legal requirements. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure.
