Chemotherapy Treatment of Advanced GIST Cancer

Patients with advanced GIST are treated more often with targeted treatments, precision, or immuno-oncology instead of chemotherapy.  GIST does not generally respond well to chemotherapy so other more effective treatments are used

Since chemotherapy is not often used for GIST,  be informed about targeted treatments for GIST.
